Save Templates In Powerpoint

Hello, I work for a design agency that creates custom PowerPoints for big businesses. We make bespoke presentations, but also decks and templates for them to use across the company. We have a huge focus on design, so we set all the theme fonts, colours, design the masters etc. We also set templates for charts so when the user inserts a chart, they pick the right one and all the colours/fonts are automatically set. We'd like to be able to do this for tables as well as charts, but it seems to be impossible without using Avopress (which has limitations). Does anyone know of any way around the fact that PowerPoint won't let you save a table template?

Is there any way to re-code the programme to let us do it? It would make our jobs a lot easier! Alternatively, will this option be available in a new update anytime soon? (We're all on Office 2016, with a variety of macs and windows in the studio). Thanks so much, Steph.
